Dan Leaver

Owner-Operator

Dan Leaver has been working in the pest control industry for 9 years. Initially, he worked part time with his dad, Tim, in the evenings and on the weekends while working full-time as an accounting supervisor for Enterprise. In March 2019, after the birth of his first son, Carter, Dan made the decision to leave corporate America and take over the family business. Dan says this is the best decision he’s ever made. He is passionate about what he does, knowing that he is helping individuals and families feel safe in their homes. He also cares deeply for his employees and works hard to ensure that they are successful in all aspects of their lives. Dan likes to think of himself not only as a leader, but a mentor. In his free time, Dan likes to stay active by wakeboarding in the summers at the lake, skiing in the winter, and playing hockey any chance he gets. He loves spending time with his family, which includes his wife Celine and 2 sons, Carter and Luke, traveling, and barbecuing.

Tim Leaver

Owner-Operator

Tim Leaver has owned and operated Teacher’s Spraying Service for 25+ years. He has always enjoyed working in a field that allows him to do what he loves most- helping people. Working in the pest control industry allows him to do this, as well as provide education and preventative services to ensure customer safety. Over the years, Tim has established a first-rate company that now has an office staff and full-time professional service technicians. Teacher’s Spraying Service has become a successful company that protects homes and businesses in the St. Louis area. Tim takes pride in his work and he has a reputation for excellent customer service and pest control services while maintaining very affordable prices. Tim has been married to Judy for 40 years and they have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. In his free time, he loves being “paw paw” and going out on the boat.

Cody Ward

Certified Commercial Applicator Cody has been working in the pest control industry for 3 years. Prior to this, held many different positions, including serving in the Army right out of high school. While serving, in November of 2013, Cody and his wife Helen had their first child Cody Jr. After his contract ended, Cody decided to forego the military life so that he and his family could move closer to home. They had two more children, Aiden and Liliana, in the following years. During this time, he worked in various positions such as retail work, maintenance, yard and tree trimming. Cody enjoys working outside, solving problems, and teaching/mentoring new employees. His biggest drive in life is supporting his family and seeing personal and professional growth in himself and those around him. Cody enjoys a balanced life of indoor and outdoor activities with his family. He loves going to the park, swimming, and barbecuing on the weekends, and gaming with the kids after school on weekdays.

Mike Smith

Certified Service Technician

Mike has been with Teacher’s Spraying Service for 2 years. In addition to his role as a service technician, Mike is a full-time 1st responder for the St. Louis area. He has been a 1st responder for over 12 years and is honored to serve his community. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife, Lauren, and daughter, Mairin.

Judy Leaver

Administrative Assistant Judy Leaver is an administrative assistant with Teacher’s Spraying Service. She manages scheduling and accounting while maintaining excellent customer service skills. Previously, Judy worked full-time for the Department of Defense for 42 years in the Human Resource Development Office. During her tenure, she received multiple awards for her exemplary performance and leadership skills. In 2021, she retired from the Department of Defense and started working for Teacher’s Spraying Service full-time. She enjoys working directly with the customers on a daily basis. Judy has been married for 40 years to Tim Leaver and they have three children, Kelly, Dan, and Jenna. She enjoys traveling, boating, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Jeanne Moran

Customer Service Representative Jeanne Moran is the Customer Service Representative for Teacher’s Spraying Service. Work is very important to Jeanne because she enjoys helping others and doing things that can potentially change someone’s life, even if it’s in a small way. Jeanne has been married for 43 years to her high school sweetheart. She has two girls, Lauren and Kristin, and a brand-new grandbaby, Mairin Olivia. Jeanne recently retired from Chippewa Auto Body, which she and her husband have owned since 1972. In her free time, Jeanne likes to spend time with her grandbaby, boating, golfing, and her family.
